Two are designated as Rymer Gold Scholars, and three are designated as Rymer Silver Scholars. Hoyle Rymer and his father, the late Robert Rymer, established the Rymer Foundation, which has made generous gifts to several educational institutions and has created the Rymer Scholarship at Lee University. The luncheon was also attended by the parents of the winners, members of the Rymer selection committee, current Rymer scholars from 2001-2004 and administrators from Cleveland H.S., Bradley H.S., Walker Valley H.S., and Lee University.
